Saxophonist Dango outside the National Theatre
The story
We hear the saxophone from afar. It's Vladimir, known to everyone as Dango. He learned at 16 from his father and brother, in a family where every generation plays music. He once played in his brothers' brass band. Today he plays on the street every day to put bread on his family's table.
"People respect me," he says. We refresh his look on the spot, then leave him something for food and a little support. If you pass the National Theatre and hear a saxophone, stop for Dango.
